The School
General English courses are Monday to Friday. We have 15 and 20 hour options with morning & afternoon timetables.
Mixed international classes of 12 students maximum per class and 6 weeks Examination Preparation courses throughout the year (IELTS & FCE)
All native English speaking teachers with at least one degree and specific TEFL certificates and experience. The majority of our teachers and admin staff have been with us since the school opened in 2011.

Free Workshops
Every week we offer both our morning and afternoon students 4 free workshops (Monday to Thursday). Each workshop is half an hour long with new and interesting topics each week. It is a great way for our students to practice their English while also having fun and making new friends.

Each week we organise 3 activities/tours for our students to attend. It’s a great way to make new friends and get to know Cork City as well as the surrounding area. The activities & tours are organized with our students in mind, so are often free or at a low cost. We also offer a mix of day and evening tours so that there’s always something to suit a busy student schedule.

Relatively small city which makes the city’s people very open, friendly and chatty.
Neat and compact – easy to get around. Most students walk everywhere but there is a regular bus service connecting all suburbs very well.
Cork is a university city with a total student population in excess of 25,000 out of the total of 120,000.
Way Of Life
Cork is a vibrant city awash with multiculturalism, central business districts, live music venues and vibrant restaurants, but the city has never lost its unique culture and the people living here are testament to that.
Cork people are among the most humorous people in Europe and are very proud of Cork’s label as ‘The Rebel County’. The pace of life is slower than in Dublin due to the easy-going, relaxed nature of the people. Saying that, there are still excellent pubs and venues on offer.
Cork has a great blend of city and country life. Jump on the bus and head for West Cork and you are in one of the most picturesque places in Ireland.
Cork city’s commitment and contribution to the Arts and cultural life is well established. The city is home to several galleries, museums, The National Sculpture Factory, dance Theatres and artist workshops.
The city also boasts a yearlong calendar of festivals ranging from folk, jazz, choral and film.
The overall quality of life and physical environment of Cork city and its hinterland is excellent and is readily accessible to residents and visitors. This is evident in the parks, rivers, lakes, tourist attractions, sports and recreational facilities available along with many cultural and heritage attractions.
The rejuvenated St Patrick Street and the pedestrianization of Oliver Plunket St, the city’s two main thoroughfares further enhance the attractiveness of the city.
